Work with an interdisciplinary committee composed of representatives from public and private sectors to develop policy and rule language concerning agricultural water quality improvements. Currently working on monitoring program.
  • Metro Regional Government,Water Resources Policy Advisory Committee and subcommittees on water quality, fish and wildlife protection., Portland, Oregon, ’98 –’05.
  • East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, associate director, ’96 –’03.
  • Mt. Hood Community College, Natural Resources Technology & Forestry Programs. Served as adjunct faculty and advisory committee member, ’96 –’05.
  • Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Erosion Control Policy Committee. Served on this committee to develop statewide erosion control policy, ’95 –’97.
  • Oregon Department of Education, Natural Resources Education Committee. Represented water quality and watershed concerns for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality on this committee recommending education requirements for certificates of initial and advanced mastery in natural resources, ’96 –’97.
  • Plumas County Supervisors’ Sediment Management Committee (Feather River, CA), ’95 –’97. As a graduate student, I was invited to serve as the geomorphologist on this committee that developed a watershed protection program for the uppermost watersheds of the California Water Project, ’85 –’87 (thesis topic).
